My name is Josef and I am a recording and mixing engineer based out of Huntsville, AL and Washington, DC.

My work consists of both live concert mixing, studio recording, and live production. I work at Heritage Studios with The Heritage Foundation and The Daily Signal as a producer for their products. My work consists of audio engineering & editing, lighting & set design, videography, and AV networking. I assisted in the design of six studios, three for podcasts, two for live media appearances, and one full TV set. During my time at Heritage, I’ve been the producer for The Kevin Roberts Show, Heritage Explains, The Power Hour, Case in Point, Top News in 10, Signal Sitdown, and Problematic Women. Our studio has hosted the shows of Megyn Kelly, Dan Bongino, and Sean Spicer. From opening the new Heritage Studios in May of 2024, I have led hundreds of media appearances and projects.

I have worked with many local and national bands and local venues throughout the North Alabama. Under Doombox Productions, I mixed for national acts such as Headgames, Carpool, and Who’s Bad; along with local acts such as Jed-Eye, April Pendergrass, and Jenni’s Mixtape. I have also worked with the City of Madison, Furniture Factory, and Gold Sprint Coffee, and the Von Braun Center’s Mars Music Hall.

I have worked with AnimeTV Japan as the host of “In the News,” with over 600 thousand views on YouTube and produced videos with up-to-date news on anime and manga, along with commentary and analysis of popular shows.

I have previously worked with content creators on YouTube as an audio engineer, casting director, and lead voice director for 11+ YouTube videos with a collective 1 million+ views. When I was working with Patrick Osborne, I assisted in the planning and production of a pilot animation called “Shy Reaper”, a supernatural detective story taking place in the modern world.

I studied at Calhoun Community College, obtaining an Associate’s in Applied Sciences in Music Technology.
